The Seismatron is a tremor-producing machine built by the maniacal Doctor Robotnik and it is featured in Sonic the Comic #20.

The Seismatron was named by Dr. Robotnik due to its designed capability of generating seismic activity.

The machine also contained a two-way communication screen that allowed the evil Doctor Robotnik to taunt anyone that comes before to dare deactivating his brand-new weapon of mass destruction.

It was built in a cavern beneath the Hill Top Zone, where it triggered a volcanic eruption that would have destroyed the village of the eagle-like Hill Top People including their leader Chief Kordon.

At the time, Sonic had turned into an evil Super Sonic who was becoming content with letting the Hill Top People die. Tails tried begging Super Sonic to help, but this Super Sonic did not care. Tails then goaded Super Sonic into action by implying that he could never do anything to stop the volcano, and so Super proved him wrong by flying around the lava eruption at supersonic speed. The speed cocoon cooled the molten rock until it solidified, which Sonic had molded into a statue of himself.

The Seismotron was likely destroyed by the eruption it caused.
